Delete anything, any time.
You are always in control. Removing a person or closing your account is permanent, and we want you to know exactly what happens so nothing is a surprise.
Remove a loved one
Their check-ins and conversations go with them.
When you remove a person from your space, we also delete every check-in conversation we held for them and every read we produced. It happens immediately.
How to remove a loved one

Sign in and go to your space.

Choose the person you want to remove from your list.

Open their settings and select "Remove this person."

Confirm. Their check-ins and all conversations are deleted right away.
This is permanent. We cannot retrieve the conversations or reads after they are deleted.
Close your account
One step, everything is erased.
Closing your account removes your profile, every person you added, every check-in conversation, and every read Wren produced. The people you added are notified that check-ins have ended.
How to close your account

Sign in and go to Account settings.

Scroll to "Close account" and select it.

Confirm your decision. Your account and all its data are deleted immediately.

The people you added receive a short note from Wren saying their check-ins have ended.
Closing your account is permanent and cannot be undone. If you think you might want to come back, you can pause check-ins from your settings instead.
When a loved one stops
They always have the right to opt out.
A loved one can stop check-ins at any time by replying to Wren or writing to care@joinwrencare.com. We will honor their choice immediately, no questions asked.
What happens on their side
When a loved one opts out, we stop all future check-ins immediately. We delete the check-in conversations we held on their behalf and the reads associated with them. We do not retain their information for any other purpose.
What you see
You will receive a gentle note from Wren letting you know that the person has chosen to stop. Their name will remain in your space until you remove it, but no new check-ins will run.

If you would rather not navigate the app, just write to us and we will handle it within 30 days, usually much sooner.
Write to us from the email address on your account, tell us what you would like deleted (a specific person, a specific date range, or your whole account), and we will handle it within 30 days. You will get a confirmation when it is done.
