Privacy Notice

We built Wren around trust, and that starts with being honest about what we collect, why we collect it, and how you stay in control.

01Who we are

Wren, Inc. is a Delaware C-Corp headquartered in Austin, TX. We run a consumer service that gently checks in on the people you care about on your behalf and sends you back a soft, honest read on how they seem. Wren is not a medical or clinical product, and nothing in this notice is intended to be read that way.

If you have questions about how we handle your information, you can always write to us at privacy@joinwrencare.com.

02What we collect

When you create an account we collect your name and email address, and a password you set. We use these to keep your account secure and to reach you about your Wren plan.

When you add a loved one to Wren, you share some context about them, such as their name, how you know them, and what you would like Wren to gently look out for. We keep this to personalize the check-ins you asked us to run.

Wren conducts check-in conversations with your loved one on your behalf. We retain those conversations so we can produce the gentle read we send back to you and to keep a record of past check-ins. We do not use them for advertising and we do not sell them.

03Your loved one's privacy and consent

We never reach out to someone without their consent. Before any check-in begins, the loved one receives an introduction from Wren explaining what Wren is and who asked us to reach out. They opt in before a single message is sent, and they can stop check-ins at any time by replying or writing to care@joinwrencare.com.

The conversations Wren has with a loved one are used only to produce the gentle read sent back to the account holder. We treat those conversations with care and do not surface the raw transcript to other users of our service.

04How we use information

We use the information you and your loved one share to run check-ins, produce the gentle read, and operate and improve the Wren service. We also use your account information to send you updates about your plan, to respond to questions you send us, and to keep the service secure.

We do not sell personal information. We do not use it for advertising on other platforms. We do not share it with data brokers.

05Sharing and providers

We work with a small set of subprocessors that help us run the service. These include infrastructure providers that host our systems, the email provider that delivers check-in messages and your reads, and the AI model provider that helps Wren produce the gentle read you receive. Each subprocessor is under contract and is permitted to use your information only to provide the service we have asked them for.

We may disclose information when required by law or to protect the safety of our users. We will never sell or rent personal information to third parties.

06Your choices and rights

You can access, correct, or export the personal information in your account at any time from your account settings. You can also ask us to delete your account and the data associated with it by writing to privacy@joinwrencare.com. We will respond within 30 days.

To stop check-ins for a loved one, you can remove them from your account at any time. They can also stop check-ins themselves, as described in the Your data and Deletion pages.

07Security and contact

We use encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and regular security reviews to protect the information you share with us. No system is perfectly secure, and if a breach occurs we will notify affected users and any required regulators promptly.

For any privacy question or request, write to us at privacy@joinwrencare.com. We are a small team and we read every message.

This policy is provided for your information and may be updated from time to time. It is a summary and not legal advice. For questions, contact us at the email above.
