Cookies

Wren uses a small number of cookies to keep the service working and to understand how people use it. Here is what we use and why.

Last updated July 15, 2026

01What cookies we use

We use three kinds of cookies: essential cookies that keep you signed in and the service working, a preferences cookie that remembers your theme choice, and privacy-respecting analytics cookies that help us understand aggregate usage. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not share cookie data with ad networks.

02Essential cookies

These cookies are necessary for Wren to work. They keep your session active while you are signed in and protect against cross-site request forgery. Without them, you cannot use the service. They are set only for as long as your session lasts, or for a short period to keep you signed in if you ask us to.

Because these cookies are strictly necessary, they cannot be turned off through our cookie controls, though you can clear them through your browser at any time.

03Preferences

We store your theme preference, light or dark, in a small cookie so the site looks the way you chose on your next visit. This cookie holds no personal information beyond that choice and expires after one year.

04Analytics

We use privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate patterns, such as which pages are visited most and where people find Wren. We do not use individual-level tracking, we do not fingerprint devices, and we do not share this data with advertisers. Where analytics tools offer a privacy mode, we default to it.

05Your choices

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies, though blocking essential cookies will prevent you from signing in. Instructions for common browsers are available in their help pages.

When cookie consent banners appear on our site, we default to the most privacy-preserving option. You are never required to accept non-essential cookies to use the core service.

This policy is provided for your information and may be updated from time to time. It is a summary and not legal advice. For questions, contact us at the email above.
