Terms of Service

These are the terms for using Wren. We have written them in plain language so they are easy to read. Please read the section on what Wren is and is not, because it is important.

Last updated July 15, 2026

01The agreement

These terms are between you and Wren, Inc., a Delaware C-Corp headquartered in Austin, TX. By creating an account or using the Wren service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date above and, for meaningful changes, let you know by email. Continuing to use Wren after an update means you accept the new terms.

02Your account

You must be 18 or older to create a Wren account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account.

You may only add a loved one to Wren if they have agreed, or will agree before any check-in begins, to receive messages from Wren. Wren always introduces itself as Wren and explains who asked it to reach out. You must not add someone to Wren without their knowledge or consent.

03Acceptable use

You agree to use Wren only for its intended purpose: staying gently connected to people you care about with their full knowledge and agreement. You agree not to use Wren to deceive, surveil, or harass anyone, and not to add anyone to Wren who has not consented or who has asked to be removed.

You agree not to attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, or misuse the service, and not to use it in any way that violates applicable law.

04Wren is not an emergency or medical service

Wren is a gentle consumer check-in service. It always says it is Wren. It never pretends to be you, and it never replaces your own call or visit. A gentle read from Wren is a heads-up, not a diagnosis or a medical assessment.

Wren is not an emergency service, a crisis line, or a medical or mental-health product. If you or someone you care about is in immediate danger, or is experiencing a medical or mental-health emergency, please call local emergency services or a crisis line right away. Do not rely on Wren in an emergency.

Wren may miss signs that something is wrong, and it may sometimes flag something that turns out to be fine. It is a soft signal to help you stay connected, not a substitute for your own judgment or professional care.

05Plans and payments

Wren offers a free plan and a paid Wren plan. The paid plan is billed monthly in your local currency and processed through Stripe. Pricing is shown on our Plans page and in your account settings.

You can cancel your paid plan at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and we do not issue prorated refunds for partial months, except where required by law.

06Consent and stopping check-ins

Either side can stop check-ins at any time. You can remove a loved one from your account in your settings. Your loved one can stop check-ins themselves by replying to a Wren message or writing to care@joinwrencare.com. We will honor that request promptly.

If a loved one asks to be removed, we will remove them and let you know. We will not continue check-ins after someone has asked us to stop.

07Changes, liability, and contact

Except as required by law, Wren is provided on an as-is basis. To the extent permitted by law, Wren, Inc. is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including consumer protection rights you may have in your jurisdiction.
